Creapure brings you Event 3 – where we will see which teams can move a barbell. Oh…after hitting a Fran-like workout right before.

Event 3″

Following Event 2 at the 7:00 Mark
7:00-10:00

For Max Reps
Clean and Jerks 245/175

Workout Flow:
The workout begins with the athletes in their designated holding area based on where their barbells are located.  At the call of go, one athlete at a time will advance to the barbell to perform as many clean and jerks as possible.  The athletes may tag in and out of their holding area but only 1 athlete will be on the floor at a time.   Athletes will continue performing clean and jerks until the 10:00 mark.  

Your score will be the total number of reps completed during the 3:00

We will have 1 regular bar for same sex teams and 2 regular bars for co-ed teams

Tie Break:
Your score from Event 2 will act as a tiebreak for this event.  

Movement Standards

Clean & Jerk: Each rep starts with the bar on the ground.The bar must be lifted to the shoulders, then locked out overhead (no snatches). Any style of clean, except a hang clean, is permitted. Full extension of the hips and legs is NOT required after receiving the clean before starting the overhead lift. Any style of shoulder to overhead lift is acceptable (press, push press, or jerk/split jerk) as long as the required finish position is achieved. The rep is credited when: hips, knees, and arms are fully extended, the feet are in line with the body and the bar is over or behind the middle of the body.  If the S2O is missed and brought back to the front rack, the athlete MAY reattempt the S2O. An attempt started prior to the clock hitting 10:00, but finished after the clock hits 10:00 will count.
