*Team athletes who fail to finish the workout must add 1 second for every rep not finished. For example, if an athlete finishes 250 of the 270 total reps, he must add 20 seconds to the time cap of 25:00. His score would be entered as 25:20. Team captains will be responsible for inputting both partners scores on our online scoring platform. Team score will be the total of both athletes scores.*

WORKOUT FLOW, STANDARDS & SUBMISSION INFO

This workout begins with the athlete sitting on the rower with hands off the handle and the monitor at zero. At the start of go, the athlete will begin the row portion of the workout.

After the monitor reads the correct number of calories, the athlete will move to his line facing burpees over the line.

After completing the set of line facing burpees over the line, the athlete will return to the rower and reset the monitor before beginning his next set of calories on the rower. The athlete can not have assistance resetting the rower.

This pattern will repeat until the athlete finishes all required reps or the clock hits the time cap.

The time stops when both feet of the athlete touch the ground after jumping over the line on the final line facing burpee over the line. There is no tiebreak for this workout. The time cap for this workout is 25:00. The clock must count up.

Rower:

The monitor must read zero at the beginning of each set. Athletes can not have assistance resetting the monitor. Athletes can not leave the rower until the monitor shows the correct number of calories for the given set. Athletes must use a Concept2 rower.   

Line Facing Burpee:

Athletes will perform line facing burpees with the head closest to the line and the feet farthest away from the line. Athletes can jump or step down into the burpee position. At the bottom of the burpee, the athlete’s chest and thighs must make contact with the ground. Athletes can jump or step up from the burpee. The athlete must jump over the tape line with a two-foot take off and land on the opposite side of the tape line without touching the tape line with the feet. The tape line must be at least 36” in length from end to end.

Failure to follow any of the above standards will result in a no rep.

Workout scores must be submitted by 9pm EST on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Late submissions will not be accepted. Athletes must have a judge present and judging to the written movement and workout standards listed. Athletes without a judge must submit a video recording of their workout. Video recordings are not required upon submission of a workout score, but all athletes who finish in a qualifying position and who do not submit a video may receive an email notification at the conclusion of the qualifier with a request to submit a video for qualification verification purposes. Athletes can download video recording apps such as WeTime or WOD Proof to easily record and submit videos.

Team Score Entry: The score will be the sum of both athlete’s score. The team captain will be required to submit both scores online.
