Who Can Participate
Any South Carolina athlete with a residence east of I-95 is eligible to participate in the qualifying divisions. An Open Division also exists for any athlete who did not qualify or any athlete who lives outside of eligibility location.
Divisions
Fittest of the Coast is an individual only event with male and female divisions. An athlete’s age as of June 1, 2021 determines his/her division.

Teen (14-17)
Open Division – Open to any athlete who does not qualify or lives outside of the eligibility area
Coastal Qualifier
The coastal qualifier is an online qualifier to determine who will receive invites to Fittest of the Coast.

Registration opens September 1 – Cost is $10

All workouts are previous Open workouts
Team Competition – Every gym will count as a team and we will name the fittest gym overall and from each region – Bluffon/Hilton Head, Charleston, Myrtle Beach – MORE INFO COMING
How To Qualify
Athletes must finish within the top of their division during the Coastal Qualifier to qualify.
18-34 & 35-44 – Top 30
45-54 – Top 20
55+ & Teen – Top 10
Championship Event
The championship event is a two-day event with divisions competing on one day. Athletes are guaranteed at minimum four scoring events plus a final for top finishers. The championship event will be held in late March/early April at a coastal South Carolina-area gym. The exact date and location are TBD.
