So, you want to compete? Are you ready to release your inner athlete at Fittest of the Coast 2021?

The Open Division is for any athlete who did not qualify during the Coastal Qualifier or is not from the coastal region. There are no age restrictions for divisions. All we ask, is you come ready to compete and have a one-of-a-kind competition experience!

Wondering if the Open Division is for you? Do you love to compete? Do you want an incredible competition experience? Do you want to be part of the most exciting competition on the coast?

Answer yes to those questions? If so, you NEED TO COMPETE!

The Open Division is open to any athlete who did not qualify during the Coastal Qualifier or is from outside the coastal region. This year, we have broken up the Open Division into Scaled & Intermediate to allow more athletes to compete and experience Fittest of the Coast!

Scaled Division: The scaled division is for the athlete who is new to CrossFit and functional fitness, is new to competitions and who often scales and modifies workouts. There are no age requirements.

Intermediate Division: The intermediate division is for the athlete who has been at this fitness game for a some time now. Athletes might be new to competitions or have competed many times in the past. This athlete RX’s most workouts, but isn’t at the top of leaderboard just yet, but is making a strong push! There are no age requirements.

Athletes in the Intermediate Open Division should be able to complete most, if not all, of the movements below. Movements and weights are considered “working weights/movements”. Movements listed below are possible movements. Workouts will be released beginning in February.

Registration opens January 1 at 8 a.m. There are only 20 available spots for divisions. These spots will fill quickly, so don’t wait to register. The Open Division cost to register will increase on January 15.
